The last time I was in London - for three days, three years ago - I decided I was most definitely going to come back here to live some day. I can't believe I now live down the street from the place I stayed then. That happened. (Is happening!)
I feel bad for wasting any time here - for when I'm not doing something exciting, or checking something off my ever-growing list of things to do. Because there is constant motion and activity, I need to remind myself that it's ok to step out of the stream of people and life for a minute. That it's ok to get settled in indoors, recharge and relax for a while. It's impossible to be a tourist (going, doing) 24/7, because I'm actually living here. Errands are a thing. I'm not quite used to that thought yet - being a native, as opposed to someone who has to cram it all in in limited time. Will be nice to discover when that feels true.
Love,
Annie
